在21世纪的今天，，，，，作为最绿色节能的光源LED已经正在取代古板光源，，，，，而成为照明用具的主角。。。。。。除了节能思量，，，，，环保要求也是本世纪重点之一，，，，，LED灯是否使用了环保质料？？？？？质料对人身及情形是否有危害？？？？？这又是我们面临的另一大课题。。。。。。
有害物质的限制
a. 欧盟RoHS指令

b. 美国加利福尼亚州RoHS规则

c. 美国联邦RoHS法案

以上法案，，，，，均管控制成LED灯中的种种均质质料中如下六种受限制使用的物质的含量：
铅：1000ppm，，，，， 镉：100ppm，，，，， 汞：1000ppm，，，，， 六价铬：1000ppm，，，，， 多溴联苯：1000ppm，，，，， 多溴联苯醚：1000ppm
欧盟RoHS建议优先四种物质
a. 三种邻苯二甲酸酯 3 Phthalates (BBP, DBP and DEHP)
b. 六溴环十二烷 HBCDD
